Khang Le Schoenthal is an illustrator and visual storyteller based in the Seattle area, specializing in children's literature. With a unique background that includes a degree in zoology and an education in 3D animation, Khang builds immersive, atmospheric worlds that blend natural curiosity with warm, character-driven narratives, as seen in his original visual development project, Ellie & Teddi.

Prior to focusing on publishing, Khang spent four years as a Game Artist and Technical UI Designer, worked on multiple highly rated children's mobile titles including PAW Patrol: The Game and MathTango. This robust studio background equips him with a keen eye for layout, composition, and production-ready visual pacing. An active member of SCBWI Western Washington, Khang is currently seeking literary representation and freelance illustration opportunities. When he isn't sketching, he is likely exploring the Pacific Northwest with his Chow Chow or studying the cinematography of his favorite animated shows.
